Hi my name is Eduardo, originaly from baja mexico, now living in Vancouver Island, I am passionated about the human powered vessels, specialy kayaks and I whant to build one, and learn about the fiber glass process, I am trying to find information about the vaccum sistem but with no succes, Any idea any one were I can get some information? thanks.. You might try here, http://www.proboat.com/ a good resource. If you wish to build a boat or two for your self, vacuum bagging is not the easiest way to do it. You can strip build any shape kayak you want and it will require very few power tools.

Hi Gary, thanks for the reply, I am just curios about the vaccum Bagging system, and now what that is, to see if is something I wuld like to try in the future.
I am loocking into some wooden kayak kits as well, but now I have two old kayak molds for fiber glass kayaks, and I really would like to try those ones..

There are, perhaps close to a dozen kayak manufacturers in the Pacific Northwest from whom you can gain some information about bagging techniques for kayaks.

These three are a good place to start your discovery process via email.

There are also lots of Internet sites that will show you about bagging techniques specifically for kayak construction if you use the Google search capabilities.

Hi Chris, thank you for your message, I am curios about this proces, just to see what is all about, and to see if would be something I would like to try in the future. I am loocking into some woden kayak kits, but also I have two old fiverglass molds for K1(racing kayaks) from the Nanaimo Kayak Clud that they have not used long time, and I really would like to give it a try.
I try the Google before, but for some reazon I did not find good web sites, I'll try again but if you know of a specific good web site, would be nice if you could send it to me.. I'll be in contact,
