| Look Closer The nearer hull in the aero cat pic looks to be reversed below the stem(chine lower than keel), and I think when I talked to him, he said that's what it was. I had a lot of questions about why he did a lot of things the way he did. Sweeping stem and short waterline, for instance. He was always vague, but claimed to have good reasons. ______________ Lance. |

| Outside the box design Here is a flat bottom, relatively narrow beam skiff that the builder says he has taken offshore, in heavy seas, many times. This seems to me like the type of "outside the box" thinking that characterized Hickman. http://www.oceanskiffjournal.com/Sub...tProfile1.aspx |
