new designer

Hi there! My name is Roberto and I'm an aeronautical engineer.
I'm going to finish my first design, a sailing 34 ft. cruiser-racer, and I've got some curiosities:
-Which is the best way to give visibility to one's own design?
-Which are the best international design contests?
-There's some fellowship in the field?
Bye, guys...

Roberto,
The BEST way to get publicity for your design is to build it and show it off. But that's way too expensive for most of us, so we post pics to galleries in websites such as this, and hope someone notices.
Having a website of your own, no matter how small, also helps, and then just make sure that search engines can find it when someone searches for "Yacht Designer"
Steve
