New to the design game!

Hello everybody.

My name is Matt an AutoCAD design student new to power boating. I was just given a 21ft Bayliner from my uncle and am enjoying taking it out on the lake.

I would like to do some boat designing... what applications are best for design? What are the main things to think about when designing a hull for general power boating applications?

Any links or comments would be very much appreciated.

Thanks all.

-ms

The main things are pretty much covered in these books... Understanding the principals is the first step in design
