Although designed for outboards they could be easily modified to make a nice little displacement boat powered by your diesel.

A couple of small tugs that'd be well suited to your power plant.

why??I see no good from this design,,,large windows ,,not ports,,,,the hull is ok,,but you could build a better boat, there is probably a reason that this boat didnt make it on the market,,,,maybe a lobster boat would do ya

your talking about quit a substantial investment,,,,,,,why not start new ,,with a really great design? they are out there,,you can get some really good kits,,,you might luck out ,,like me ,,but if I had it to do again,I would buy a used boat that is in the water and only needed some tweeking,or minor repair ,then you can take the motor out and use it in you new boat, along with other things,,,,good luck ,,longliner

the boat in the pics is one i got off ebay for $450 it has a perkins 4-108 30hp diesel the prop steering wheel prop shaft (basicly a complete boat that needs repair) its just that the hull is a bit too far gone for me to repair so im using the motor etc. for a new boat

perhaps you need to know ,,how much boat will my motor push?and go from there, the money spent on the boat you have is a good deal,,you have a nice motor,,and some extras,,,fuel tank ? linkage,,,maybe some gauges and a compass,,at least you are at the right place, for info and prints,or the other option of a used boat,,,,stay in touch, longliner
