Need help for my project... (lead me the way)

Hi,

For my project i have to design a motorboat.

Technical Specifications are:

Loa : 23 m
Lwl : 19.5 m
Bmax : 5.8 m
Bwl : 5.1 m
T : 1.55 m
Displacement : 46.5 t
Cв : 0.3
Speed : 25 knot



These are what i have f6r begining. Now what? How can i calculate Am, Awp .. esc..
And how could i form offset table???

Need your help to lead the way

It will be planing so the power calculation can be done using Savitsky prediction method:

The hull form will be for planing not displacement. Will require something like 1200HP depending on the prop efficiency.

Ygzytkn you have been given the principle dimensions to which you have to work. The Cb is the clue to the way the volume is to be distributed and the speed as Rick has said puts it into the planing boat corner, which points to the hull style. It maybe time to start putting this information to work either on paper or computer. Such things as the relationship between the LOA and DWL and the effect on overhangs are up to you as a designer.Good luck maybe come back with some questions when you have made a start.
