need help for keel joining

currently i am undergoing project of 42' boat, we have split hulls. can anybody guide me what is the best method to join keel and how many fiber layers should be applied to joints.
i got total of 11 layers as below
csm300+biaxial 850 0/90+csm 225+biaxial 600 45+csm 300+biaxial 850+csm 225+biaxial 600+csm 300+biaxial 850+csm 300
any help will be highly appreciated
