    Hi,
I am trying to identify a boat I got out of a friends barn. It is in very good condition and I plan to restore it.
Do you have any information about this boat? 15'6" long, 37" beam, 2 seat. Lateen (crab claw) sail.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank You,
    Eric

Folbot Cayat with sailing rig. Available both as "basic kit" and factory built.

Folbot is best known for folding, skin on frame canoes/kayaks but they also built several plywood boats for a number of years.

The seat back shape and pivoting arrangement was the initial clue for me. Not something an amateur builder is likely to do on their own.
