| Why not put a frame across the middle and an longitudinal seat that you straddle...that way you can adjust your position to suit you and the design. Make additional positions for your oar locks and you can move back and forwards to adjust for any load you might have with you. |

| Hi there , good idea however the boat is going to be used for fly fishing..I need to get as much open flat bottom area as I can get. |
