Need Help & Advice,planning hull savitsky methods

I just started designing boats using a method savitsky, there are two conditions for the state of the hull is hard chine and semi dispalcement, what should I look for the hull above because previously I only design the conventional ships like tankers, bulk carriers etc,,,,need advice
