need to find info

    Jeff Walkowiak cobra jet steering

    I am trying to find info to calculate the water resistance at 50 mph on a flat surface of 40 sq in ,in either inch or foot pounds, don't seem to be having any luck, thanks J T Walkowiak,, jeff@cobrajetsteering.com

    Use the ITTC line.

    Cf=0.075/(logRn-2)^2

    Unless what you have is a flat plate buried in the skin plating, you would still need the shape factor and pressure drag. Get a copy of Hoerner, Fluid Dynamic Drag, and read it.
