NBS - Nordic Boat Standard

I'm looking for the Nordic Boat Standard, mentioned in the Larsson book, but I don't know where I can buy them on the web.

Anyone can help me?

Are NBS in English?

From the Maritime Institute of Finland Annual Report 2002:

At the end of the year the Nordic Boat
Standard covering type certification of boats
under 15 m in the Nordic countries was
terminated. The system was created in the
1970s, and more than 300 boats have been
inspected and received the so-called Blue
Shield issued by the Finnish Maritime
Administration.

end quote.

It doesn't look like the Standard will be available, as it has been superceded by the EU Recreational Craft Directive, which is readily (if expensively) available.

Thank you for your reply Steve,

I'll look an equivalent ISO rule up into the EU Recreational Craft directive.

At the moment I don't know if the ISO rules contain the same detailed data on rig and mast design.

You can easily find the Directive in the following link.
The problem are the ISO rules (see also the ISO web site) in fact each rule cost several Swiss Francs).
