It looks like an early skirtless hovercraft.

    I'm guessing it's not though.

at a guess it would be used in shallow bays or mud flat areas! but the power looks kinda over the top for that! 3 to 4 horse would be sufficient, but I guess if you got a 20 why not use it rather than buy a new engine?

Maybe it's a counterweight for a really heavy operator or a heavy payload of crawfish.

No, really. I sit and stare sometimes at the image on the screen. I have no friends any more, and I miss him. I don't eat, I have dark circles under my eyes, it's horrible. You too?

my best guess is that it is a mullit boat or pompano boat ,,skiff,, engine in front so to not get into the nets,,probably louisianna or fla panhandle, needs the horsepower to be fast enough to encircle a school of fish,,longliner,,,,,,,,,,,,do I get a prize now??????/

    Hi,

We're just here to pick up the remains. The computor was still on, and I caught this before we moved the stif... er, Mr. White.
Listen. I know this is highly irregular, but I found something scrawled on a piece of paper next to the body, and for the life of me, I can't figure it out.
Maybe someone at your end can make sense of it. It reads:

African puddle taxi...no... damned cheese dwindling... must conserve...Jehovah witnesses didn't know... tired... so tired...fingers went yesterday, Google page 4678... holding pencil with remaining teeth...Ah! Sweet Glory! St Peter now is it? Wait! Of course! It all makes sense now! It is a...

I'm sorry, but the note ends at that point. I should go about my business.
Sorry to take such liberties with Mr. White's account, but I suppose he won't mind---hahahah!

Dear Mr Shermer, We at Barnum and Bailey's believe that you have in your possession the remains of the late Alan White. It was his closest relatives' wish (in the absence of friends) that these said remains be taken to the nearest taxidermy establishment (see white pages) where once the saleable organs have been removed the skin be stretched over a wire frame for display in our travelling freak show (first call - Thailand) where it will be displayed between an effigy of the Elephant Man and a midget Frosty...
    An early response is requested.

I understand completely, Mr. Bergalia. We are doing what we can, but a writhing and moaning Frenchwoman who calls herself Claudette has wrapped her body so tightly around Mr. White's remains that we are having difficulty extricating her. Apparently, Mr. White was somewhat of a "Bon vivant" and a man about town..
Please advise as to arrangements, etc.,etc..

    Regards, Mr. Shermer
