For the mould or for the boat? Being MDF I assumed for the mould. We never tried CNC cut in our production, not worth the money for us. I donīt know the technical limitations or alternatives. Except router cut. |

| Routers go through any common size, find a pro CNC shop, not a bedroom operator with a old plotter table and a cd player laser. |

lol .... nicely put Richard yah i have the yellow pages and im going through them so far they the ones I found are "allergic" to MDF or wood and i am sure because it requires more precise setting not just load and cut.

| After killing a good part of my brain cells, i calculated what i think is the M2 of the boat. sooo plans say i need 750m of 10x19mm wood. Assuming the height will be the 19mm then 750 x 0.019 = 14.25 m2 outside surface area x 2 = 28.5 m2 total m2 area Volume of applied epoxy = 14.25 x 0.00125 (thickness of epoxy per richards calculation) = 0.017813 m3 Denisty = mass / volume Mass = 1100 (kg / m3 epoxy denisty) x 0.017813 = 19.59 KG of net epoxy not including the gluing part .... Erhmm feel like i did something wrong .....

| The workshop ! Well i had to take the idea of learning autocad just to prepare my workshop with optimal efficiency out of my mind !!(im nuts ..) I attached a night picture of my hopefully future construction site ... I was thinking of building a light weight metal structure to create an enclosed working area. There is a lot of wind with sand and the temp is too high to work in the open. I was thinking to enclose 12 meters x 8 meters. The ground is tiles and elevated a bit just needs a good clean. ------ I prepared a list of what i will be needing to get things organized: 1- Electricity, cables, fuse boxes, lighting 2- Sound system for music (ok its a must!) 3- Steel structure with heavy fabric for side covers 4- Tools Electric 5- Tools workshop 6- First Aid kit (i know i will hurt myself some how) 7- Fire extinguisher .. (fires are not fun in a workshop) 8- Fan (bloody hot in summer 45 + degrees) 9- Ventelation pump (get the pesky fumes away) 10- Humidity and temperature gauges 11- Mask / gloves Dunno if i missed anything else ...

| Here I butt in again... Instead of building a heavy construction, you could do a green house style construction, like these http://mortonproducts.com/hseries2.jpg http://www.exccelgreenhouses.com/wp-...-wireframe.jpg http://www.igcusa.com/images/coldfra...er-package.jpg I imagine that green houses in Egypt are not very usefull, thus mass produced frames might be hard to find. Still, you may custom make one. The idea is that the frames can be esily taken away, and placed elsewere (or even re-sold). The skin is usually pvc film, but it can be made from more insulative materials (you want to keep the extreme heat out). Venting it at night (cooler temperatures) and blocking the sun out at day (most of it) would be mandatory to keep the indoor microclimate viable. |

| hmmm thats a good idea ..... more research and looking then lol And green houses to exist in Egypt for tropical vegetation (well for growing them in the winter.) But dont green houses keep temperature in? or could they be regulated ? Thx for point this out for me, hadn't crossed my mind ... Please feel free to "butt in" any time, your input is always welcome much obliged

| These $20.00 dollar plans are simple and the Gothic greenhouse gives the most space. http://www.simonsonjh.org/blog/uploa...d-IMG_4003.jpg http://www.farreachvoyages.com/thebowroofshed.html |

A good ventilated warehouse with insulated roof might be the better way. Regards Richard |

| Yah green house seems the logical solution. Day time will be a problem but fans and proper ventilation SHOULD help. (unless it will effect curing and working), besides the temperature is starting to go down now. Working at night is a good idea! The problem of working outside is the amount of dust and sand (plenty of desert close by), so thats not an option. I was thinking of an iron structure (Ihave one over the roof of a small house there) if pull comes to shove with insulated roof. I will take some pictures of the existing structure i have for better reference.
