| My boat is sinking cause y'all didnt help me You guys are mean. All I wanted was some advice from people that build boats. What am I going to do now. Please tell me what kind of boats I need to make first in Inventor 5. I am so confused why i'm not getting replies ![]() |

| We're not mean. We just dont like Inventor ![]() If you really want a starter, try an Opti dinghy. You can go out to SYC and get the measurements, and it should require several different types of features. An Opti should not freak Autocad out too bad.

| Use a tool to build a boat. One does not build a boat to use a tool. Software is a tool. Design what you want. |

| design Inventor 5 is more for making Lego boats Inventor 9 is much better at surfaces. Try the Rhino demo or some of the free design programs. And I agree with Nero the program is just a tool, design what you want Hans Friedel |
