Minimal Coastal Cruiser Revisited

Some time has gone by, I took a small vacation to surf and now I'm back at it.

This is an extension of the design study that I was working on along with Will's beautiful hull ideas for an outboard powered coastal boat that could cruise all day economically.

I removed the sponson forms and added a set of amas for stability on this very skinny hull.

Just to recap...
24' LOA
24" BWL
Beam with amas 10'
5 hp outboard
Trailerable as demountable design

I'm new to the group. Have I missed out on something about this boat?

I like the way it looks.

An inboard might lower the CG enough to do away with the Amas.

Looks great!

I like it, and want it, although for me personally I'd like to cant the windscreen back further for a more aerodynamic look.

But that's just me.

Revised the windshield

Hi Alex,

Perhaps something more like this?
