In Memoriam - Lynn Senour, Designer

I just read the news in the September 30 edition of Boating Industry International Online that Lynn Senour, designer of Nordic Tugs, among other famous vessels, has passed away. He was 89 years old.

The BII article can be read at:

http://www.boating-industry.com/output.cfm?id=883945

and an additional article in the Seattle Times relates the news:

http://o.seattletimes.nwsource.com/h...urobit25m.html

and much additional background on this gentleman can be found through Google.

The Seattle Times article notes that he was a self-taught designer. Let that be encouragement to many of us with desires for yacht design and other marine industry careers.

I was at Fish Expo Workboat Atlantic in Providence, RI yesterday and did not read the news until now.
