| Melges 24 - Laminate thickness??? Hi, Does anyone know roughley what thickness the laminates are on a Melges 24? I am assuming that they are built using a sandwich? Anyone know the foam thcikness either??? Would appreciate any figures? Cheers, Ronan. |

| Thanks, I have ProEng and CosmosWorks, but actual sandwich laminate strength depends on alot of things during lay up etc. so the rated stress values for the carbon will not be accurate enough. |

| Curridronan, Are you really asking how thick to make the laminates on your new design, or do you really need info on the Melges? If "a", please just ask (with enough details that someone here can actually help). If "b", please call Melges. Steve |
