I kinda like it, sure some changes to the top structure wouldn't hurt, but it looks functional enough to work for me.

Hard to say...need to look at it when rigged. The vertical shaded windows are easy to live with..

It is a matter of taste and of superstructure's strength, imho. I won't discuss the former, because I've seen that people from different parts of the world, hence with different cultural background, tend to see a beauty where I find just mediocrity and viceversa.
As about the structural issues, it would be really interesting to see the structure of the cabin top and how it's been fixed to the deck. My impression is that all those lateral windows are not suitable for an open-water sailboat, also considering the height of the freeboard. A breaking wave in a storm will reveal the truth.

The tugboat are gorgeous. What is the big black container they tow?

If Customer wants it, why not? We don't know the story; was it originally designed like that; was the hull sold to another customer and they started some modifications?

Be smart, never judge without facts.

Replying to the original post about looks... Meh.

It's ok. Megayachts do get pretty boring, IMO. They all look the same. Nobody really thinks of something interesting or creative.

99% of power megayachts look like this:

99% of sailing megayachts look just like this Vertigo boat... YAWN.

she is rigged, I,ll try get some pics
the engineering side of things is very good
I can not understand why these yachts do not have walk down transoms, one seems far removed from the medium she floats in.
Say one thing abt Jim Clarke, I love the yachts he commissions.
Briand is IMO a great architect, I guess when a squillionaire comes with the big chequebook, one will try see it from the owners point of view:)

Squillionaires are removed from "the medium" (the world the rest of us live in)....and kept that way by their handlers.......The transom is closed for security reasons.....too easy for undesirables to board.......

Doesn't much turn my crank, but it doesn't turn my stomach the way some designs do, either. I've certainly seen worse.
