As some of you know I'm building a norwegian pram. In "10 Wooden Boats you can build" from WoodenBoat it says, "... shape the garboards by tracing one edge from the bottom board, then lift a few measurements from the drawing and use the batten and axe again."

What i understand from this is that the bottom board is shaped and then you the plank that's intended to be a garboard and trace the top(?) edge of it and cut/bevel it. This will be a Holmsbupram so the gar boards will be flat on top of the bottom board.
    Right?
