McCurdy and Rhodes Anyone have contact information for old McCurdy and Rhodes designs? I'm trying to find out where I might purchase the original lines drawing for the Seafarer 22. Thanks, Michael

I'm reasonably sure those designs can be found at the Mystic Seaport Museum, certainly most of Phil Rhodes work is. www.mysticseaport.org

Philip L. Rhodes and McCurdy & Rhodes are different offices. James "Jim" McCurdy joined Philip L. Rhodes, Naval Architects, right after the end of WWII, and headed the sailing yacht department of that design office until 1965. At that time he left the Rhodes office with Philip H. "Bodie" Rhodes (Phil Rhodes Sr's son). They formed the office of McCurdy & Rhodes, established in Cold Spring Harbor, New York. The partners collaborated until Bodie retired in 1982. McCurdy's son Ian McCurdy joined the office in 1980 and took over after his father's death in 1994. I would check the phone book for Cold Spring Harbor or try 631-692-4516. Tad
