Love me tender...

Ok - I know you lot like a challenge!...

I'm on the look out for a new tender for a fair size Classic superyacht:

about 17 ft / 5.3m ish
Beam about 7ft /2.15m
to carry 6, more if possible
50 knots (ish) (this is up for debate)
dispacement empty 1200 kg (2640 lbbs) or less.
must look perfectly suitable for a 1950's gentlemans yacht..

all else is open.

....suggestions ??

Paul

PS excuse the title I could not resist!

aaaaaaaaaggggggghhhhhhhhh POP UP HELL!!!

I implore you to spend 25$ on a real site! or even a free one with Yahoo would be tolerable - but with all due respect it's not a good way to showcase anything!

Thanks for the link but we are talking 15 coats of varnish on finest mahogany with cream leather seats here.. that sort of thing!

PS I have already checked out the boat design directory, there are one or two and I have found a few...

as to site our dollar is only worth 1/2 US$ and as i am on a pension and give all my time to this site free for all, have to make do with what i can get..
as to pop ups simple way to stop them is to right click on it and get properties go to IE tools - internet connnections - privacy-
edit and block you will be ammazed at how many popups come from the same advertising agencies!!!!

Yes! Just like that except she's a bit too long and heavy...

Don

No slight on your site content was intended, just that the people hosting it for "free" are really taking the mick with the amount of garbage they have put on it, and its a shame to see your hard work spoilt. When you get a chance have a look at:
http://au.geocities.yahoo.com/
in your part of the world, they have tools to make a really good looking site, very few and reasonably unintrusive ads, and its free too and very easy to use. Later on you can pay a small amount for more features if you wanted to...

Very nice indeed - bit worried about the lack of fendering on this type of boat, given that it will spend its time bouncing up against the hull of that (no doubt very expensive) mothership....
And, as you say, where is one to put all the bags on the way back from doing the shopping...?

Here's something a bit different - classic, yet modern....

It would be a very nice design commission, and there is a world-class luxury yacht builder nearby who specializes in wood/epoxy construction (wink, wink) ....

Interesting, unfortunately waaayyy to big!

She would need to be reinforced thats for sure but with 100kg to spare on the weight I am sure something could be done!

mmd
umm I'm going to change my profile! That's Barcelona as in Spain!!
Hoping to find something "off the shelf" maybe Bo Zolland has something...

Cheers all

Paul

love me tender

Too bad you only want a 17 footer...
Check out the 19 foot Classic which is a perfect yacht tender.
Maybe we can work something out.
