Hi Glyn,

I am just after some current designs of an existing yacht, from 25 to 10o m to do some experimental work and some cfd calculation to be able to carry out my thesis.
Can you help???
Thanks

The Delft series of tow tank tests would be a good body of force data for CFD comparisons. Contact Prof. Gerritsma for the offsets of the models.

To really validate a CFD code, you'd need flowfield data, too, or at least surface pressure data. Those are going to be a lot harder to come by. I suggest you look through issues of Journal of Ship Research, SNAME Transactions, etc. for likely experimental papers, then contact the principals to get the details.
