Looking for a boat design...

Hello,

A few months ago I stumbled upon a site displaying a boat that a man built. It was small and painted red. I have attached a drawing I quickly made of the shape as seen from above. The boat has a very distinctive look. In the picture I saw, there were two small kids in it. That is about all it can hold. There is a motor on the back. Pretty sure the hull is made of wood.

I know this is kind of a shot in the dark, but does anyone have the name of this design, a site featuring it or best of all plans for it?

Thanks,
b

That's the "Mushroom with a loft".

A wooden engine? Come on, you're joking with this, right???

www.glen-l.com has a wide variety of boat plans dating from the 50s to today. They have just about anything you could think of as far as I have seen and from testimonials seem quite helpful.

Comb the Internet. Extract information from the datastream. You'll have hours of fun browsing. Even if you don't find what you're looking for, you'll get to look at a lot of pretty boats.

Ah yes! The Tiny Titan! Thanks a lot guys! That is quite impressive being able to find the boat I was talking about with such a crummy description!

By the way, anyone have an estimate on the cost to build this thing? How would you rate the difficulty of build? Anyone got plans?
