My first reaction to your wish list is that your specification of a lifting keel and 2 rudders suggests that you want a modern, high performance boat. It might help to concentrate on the objective rather than on the features that you think are desireable.

Why do you want the lifting keel? So the boat can be trucked or for shallow draft?

Philip Bolger has designed several boats with unstayed masts and shallow draft for short-handed and single-handed sailing. Most have a somewhat traditional look, and most have centerboards or leeboards rather than a lift keel. There are a couple for which he has designed lifting keels of one sort or another, including a pivoting wing-keel. He does not have a web site, nor does he like to do business by phone. The best way to contact him is by fax.

Yves-Marie Tanton has designed several cat-ketchs (unstayed) in the size range you want. Nifty boats, IMHO. His web site is here:
http://www.tantonyachts.com/ and I would not hesitate to ask him to suggest which is closest to your wish list. He was trying to get a group of buyers together to justify the production run of his design #841, a 39' cat ketch.

Eric Sponberg has a stock plan for an unstayed sloop. You could ask him about the possibility of keel/rudder mods.

Thomas Wylie is another name associated with high-performance boats with unstayed rigs. I would inquire if they have something for your spec. The address I found is:

but it may not be current.

thanks for your answer
I spend more than 25 years around boats ( i started very young to restaure my own boat ! 18 years young)
had a few differents boats since, cata , mono..ect..
so i have a dream boat in my mind , which is going to be my home for the next 20 years !!!!
I sail around the pacifique , so must have a shallow dratf to go in mangrove and reefs, rivers ,,ect..
i have a boat now in the Withsundays ,a spend many night in a ruff anchorage , dreaming to have a shallow draft to go around the creek or bar to spend a nice calm night !!!!!
like cata or tri, but too expensive for me , and prefere the confort and room of a mono.
unstayed mats, because , do not trust stays , lost mats before !!!!
and like symplicity, and do not like the stress of a stay rig on the boat....
2 rudders, because , used to race a 40 fts with 2 rudders and it was like having fun with a hobbie cat !!!! and if you lose one , you still have one .!!!!
thanks you from sunny Australia
catherine
