Lobster boat wheelhouse plans

Hi there-
I am thinking of building a split wheel house on a 40' lobster boat- There are lots of pictures of boats with the basic wheelhouse design but no plans to speak of that I can find to build off of?? Any suggestions?? Thanks

Any reasonably experienced boat carpenter can slap one together, there's not much to them. As for plans, these would be application specific, drawn as each designed required them, to meet the SOR goals as they appeared. You can buy a set of plans specifically for the wheelhouse arrangements, hire a professional or take a stab at it yourself.

Thanks- I realize the simple design but I just wanted to see if there were any plans around to help me with the little specific things but I suppose I will probably just take a stab at it-

I think, start with sketch of the layout.
Do you wish to rweach out from the house window and slip spring onto a bollard?
