Lazeyjack's new boat

For those who may be interested here are a few renders/pictures of lazeyjack’s new boat, a canal/ riverboat. The boat is nearing complete modelling of the exterior and interior plus metal construction parts.

Whoosh I did the modelling and rendering in a joint project with lazeyjack. They were done in rhino using flamingo as the renderer with some post work in photoshop.

A 45 footer, funny it looks smaller, should be a nice live-aboard for a couple.

Whats the rear view like from the helm ? it's hard to see but it looks a bit obscured particulalry if the helms to stbd.

What's the displacement ?

Mike here is some salon photos. The helm is central, there could be some siting issues in the aft starboard quarter due to the requirement for the full size domestic refrigerator but you could work around it. Disp 16 tonne. Tad I’ll talk to someone about that.

Aymanisamana this was a joint project for lazyjack between he and myself, with thoughts and design coming from both of us. We split the work load on this project, with LJ doing the specifications while I did the computer modelling. I have done a number of these types of projects and have found them quite interesting to do.

Eyechulman yes. Nice, good luck with the build.

...I tend to feel the aft deck area is too small, but it certainly looks to be designed that way...to each his own.

Was this just a drawing exercise to produce some 3D renderings/pretty pictures, or have you built one? Since this post is more than 3 years old.
