Can anyone share his experience in building sailboat hulls when it comes to keel design and method of attachment to the hull.

Considering the one-off designs made over a male mold for mainly cruising boats say between the 32 foot and 47 foot length which is easier to build a bolt on keel design or a keel moulded into the hull.

Also considering the newer construction using foam cored hulls, is the option still there for a moulded on keel design and what are the advantages or disavantages and how do these newer materials affect ballast placement and is the draft able to be shallower due to the newer designs. :?: :?: :?:
