| Any turkey in a black robe can render an "opinion" , just look to the California 9th circus where its rare for an "opinion" to NOT be overturned. The ONLY place I know where the land holders on shore is in old areas where "Queen Ann Grants' (which predate the formation of the USA) are honored by law , tradition , AND a deed of grant. In New York there are a few areas where 400ft from the shore is owned so piers could be built. In other areas some bottom of the bays are deeded to use for shelfish. But thats IT! As far as I know. | This ISN'T a bill befoe Congress. It IS now law! ONLY a challange to a higher court will recend it. That appeal would be to the same court that ruled a developer can NOW use the "Public Domain" laws to take your property and build a shopping mall. Good luck getting this law overturned by the same guys!!!!! "Love my country but fear my government"

| Nobody said 'boo' when they basically outlawed boating all along the Indian River/Mosquito Lagoon to save allegedly rare Manatees. And now you want your rights back That precedent could be used ANYWHERE since the "science" was so totally bogus to begin with! If they made up the "facts" about manatees (which they did) and people gladly swallowed that ********, why not make up anything else?!And now the State says they have recovered SO well that they can come off the endangered list?!?!?! http://www.sptimes.com/2006/05/30/St...ngered_n.shtml And this in a mere THREE YEARS after passing the country's (then) most draconian anti-boating laws WITHOUT ANY LEGISLATIVE REVIEW AT ALL!?!? Where the hell were all of you 'look out for our eroding your civil rights" m'fers BACK THEN!?!? It's all good as long as were saving the manatees Jimbo (miffed) |
