I need some information on how the Cape Dory 30's rudder is built

I have a client whose rudder is a bit suspect and I would like some insight into how it was built before I proceed with a repair.
It looks to be a standard foam filled grp rudder and has a bronze stock. I need information on how the aperture and web/drifts are done.

Thanks all
