i am lost in this industry

hi everone who is willing to help me find my way out..........

so actually my problem is i m running out of ideas, in this project that i want to impliment. its simple, i know but it needs us to discuss this. I WANT TO BUILD A TOY BOAT, with these constraints it must be a simple boat, light, not using too much energy, move on a straight line.

any ideas are welcomed.

then nhelp me find equations that governs the energy conservation during the boats motion. and this must be modelled through matlab or octace.
