| How much speed would be lost using WW2 E-Boat hull as the basis for a fast motor cruiser/motor-sailor when in sail mode?...... when compared to a 'from scratch' designed motor sailor or pure cruising sailor of same size. Figure the E-Boat based hull would feature drop keels for sailing. |

| E-boat is really S-Boot and highly specialized for what it was. No way to make it something else and still have it be same. Easy to make sailboat same beam/length ratio but S-Boot designed to go 45 knots on 4,000 hp with big war load, not a sailboat at all. |
