how much power loss in Inboard/Outboard VS shaft?

I'm assuming a shaft and prop is the most efficient.

How much is lost with a 'typical' inboard/outboard setup for either displacement or planing hull?

How much of that is mechanical and how much is hydrodynamic?

Does In/out board hydrodynamics basically equal that of outboard motor?
