Your budget sound ok IF you do all yourself, IF you buy good used sails from net., If you buy good used Engine, 55--80 bhp You can even buy good chain But check out the keel as I advised earlier and find that plan, esp. the lines plan I can advise on framing and anyhting else, but not here on forum |

| I think I skip the hull from the link I wrote in post nr 1. The reason is that Im not going to have that much time it demands. It is better for me using an almost finished vessel. Like those I mentioned earlier. I have not been following the boat market for to long time. But is it often it appears half-finished vessels like these two I have quoted before? |

| oh like many other luxury items they are subject to the vagairies of the economy,,,id guess upwerds of 1/3rd for most kinds of boats to half or more niche boat projects end up in this kind of state...but there are conversly a lot of boat builders and people "thinking" about boat. its like the street rod or custom car/ bike scene lots of projects there too. however boats and cars dont get thet sinking feeling thousand miles from nowhere either... you might try offering 40k in cash. btw they deal in project boats so they'l probably haggle if you have it t spend now. as always have a surveyer look at it before buying though... |
