| There have been many large hovercraft proposals. The funny thing about large hovercraft is that they are very efficient, the larger the more efficient. There is little reason for a sea going hovercraft (long journey) to be totally amphibious. Most of the super large designs happen to be SES (Surface Effect Ship) using propellers. Don't be showing propellers on the bottom of a flexible stern skirt. First off the propellers would tear up the skirt upon contact, secondly it would no longer be a amphibious (water and land) design. |
