help tripping bracket design

how to design tripping bracket how is it different from ordinary ones

If you load up a narrow but deep beam you will eventually see the bottom of it deflect sideways as it starts to collapse this is well before its yield. We call this tripping , if you attach triangular brackets along the beam normal to its direction you will stop this initial collapse hence "tripping bracket"

As to how to design it you need an Engineer or a scantling rule book.
