| Help Newb Here can anyone help im a newbie boat builder second build but first big one and i was wondering if this plan is fesible...http://vintageboatplans.com/houseboats/platform.pdf it seems simple enough but I wanna know before i start building it so i dont get all the materials needed PLEASE HELP |

| As far as I know Popular Mechanics Magazine never issued plans before a prototype was built and tried. Like PS and S&M, they sometimes used a bit too much praise for their designs. This means that it will work. Whether it will suit you and your intended usage is another matter that you will have to decide.

| You could build a modern design, a whole lot faster, with much less materials, then that old plank on frame job. |
