| Looks ok to mee too. Slap a couple of beams on those two hulls you see there in the left picture and you have a decent boat ![]()

| The pics are actually 2 years old , so im doubtful they are still for sale. The hulls are very good, double wall fiberglass with foam in between. |

| If that white stuff is snow I'm not going out with you. I hate cold winter stuff. I guess the cabin is so big to make room for the fireplace... explains a lot. ![]() The boat looks ok, but I think you're going to have some gravity issues on the cabin. Is that white stuff really snow or is it flowers ![]()

| top heavy? Nice hull Lei.What are your plans for power, cabin, etc.?There is a site that you might want to look at,it's(rosboroughboats.com).Charlie,you were asking about motor ,etc. The 250 cu.in. motor would probably put out about 150 h.p. The prop is 20 in. in diameter with a max. pitch of 17 .I have been speaking to a gentleman who has access to the original drawings of my boat and he tells me that when it was built it was almost 8000 pounds(including 20 men, their gear, diesel engine,etc.).So if the hull is that heavy,do I still have a stability problem?I could use some opinions.Within a few days I should have the drawings.I'm hoping they'll shed some light on my problem.. --Lawrence |

| New pics of the boat finished and in the water. Stability has been pretty good so far. We have not had it in very rough water yet, maybe 2-3 foot moderate waves and it has perfromed well with 9-10 people aboard. However, she's definately not a ocean boat. I believe the sheer weight of the hull and lower engine are helping offset the height of the cabin. She's sitting slightly lower in the frontend than we expected probably due to the whole front of the boat being made of brass. |

| It seems to have turned out rather nicely. I was somewhat concerned about the 1/2 inch plywood and would have opted for 1/4 or 3/8 inch. Congratulations on a good looking conversion.

| You're my first to welcome here! I'm that new too! Looks like you'll have a nice boat when you get'r done. How much lead are you going to put in forward? Just a though, I don't have enough salt in me yet to flavor a bean, but that cabin looks a little tippy to me too. That's alot of HP too! Just can't find anything like that on our lakes, wish I could! If it is a little top heavy, you can always have outriggers and tie on a couple of inner tubes! (LOL, a little Ozarkian engineering!) |

| Old thread, but my question is about this particular boat. If we were to install a kicker outboard motor on the back of the boat, for emergencies only (when main motor dies), what size outboard do you think we would need? I don't want anything large or fast, just enough to get us back to a wharf. Would an 8 hp Mercury 2 stroke be enough? |
