A popular book

Hi, Yipster. From your posts I fancy that you are not a professional naval architect, so you should orientate to some lower-level professional literature - the one which could provide you every information on ship theory, while presenting the means of calculation that can be easily understood and caried out by laics. I would recommend the "Basic Ship Theory", vol. 1 & 2, from authors Rawson & Tupper. Everything you asked about is there.

without disrespect for all the above and what i've learned i was reading on this odd site the arch of noach might have been shaped upside down as voight hull. its here i found this rather nice stability simulator ah wait... roll dynamics and stability samples too
have a look at those simulators and get yourselves capsized, they open from the files on the net without downloading the small files.
