| Glued Lapstrake Scantlings I've been going through all my books and I can't find scantlings for glued lapstrake construction. Specifically I looking to eliminate conventional frames by gluing all internal structure to hull and adding necessary framing under floors and centerboard trunk. |

| Each lap is the equivalent to a stringer. Use that in the scantlings calculations.

| Lapstrake-built boats can have 15% thinner shell than carvel-built, according to an old swedish regulation for powerboats. js
