| Glass vs. Lexan as boat windshields and windows I have not seen this topic discussed. Since I am planning on building my boat soon I was wondering what experiences people have had with the durability of these materials over time when in the marine environment. |

| Lexax does scratch and turn white with prolonged salt contact, safety glass cut to fit is the best. |

| Jonathan, toughened glass is my preferance if the panes are flat, if curved or your chasing weight the lexan may be the go, as curved glass cost tend to go a bit high, seen one boat with both, glass on the outside & lexan on the inside in case glass shatter 'cos of whatever?
