Gelcoat help

I have a damaged boat I have repaired, I plan to Temporarily roll gelcoat on the boat to use it now. The boat is flaked & will repair this winter. The area is 2' wide, cap to below the water line. I need to know step by step on mixing, thinning, and adding a final coat. I seen some spray gelcoat so I am a little familiar with it. Thanks,,GC
