First attempt

Hi all, what i have in mind is a 4.9m (16 ft) boat. Rough specs would be 14 knots cruising speed (3.5 SLR). The inspiration for the design is based on the "displacement glider" http://www.alsphere.at/index.php. Construction would be plywood and epoxy. Is 3.5 SLR too high for such a hybrid planning/displacement hull? Also, would there be any problems with the plywood construction due to the unusual shape of the hull? The 3dmax drawing is just a rough draft which i hope to further refine.

The engine would be an inboard/outboard mounted as low as possible. The target would be pretty calm and shallow seas but also be seaworthy during the monsoon period.
