Feedback on Kavalier 800

Hi all,

I´m Luigi, from Argentina.

I´m into the idea of building a boat, since buying a boat here in my country is too expensive and because I like very much doing things myselve.

I have been reading some books on the subject so I´m starting to feel confident on it. And since the first thing to do in the process of building a bot is to get some good plans, is that I´m creating this thread.

Looking around the web, I found the plans for the K800 and I got surprised by how complete and descriptive they are, at least comparing her to any other free designs also available over the web that I have seen.

I also have to recognize that I like the ship's dimentions and comodations as the pictures of already built ones that I have found in this forum.

However, before starting any project I was wondering if anybody who have already built one and put it into water could give me any kind of feedback on it´s behavior from the point of view of the man who sails the ship.

How does she behave, stability, speed, shore, performance, etc?

Can anyone make a comparison with any other comercial boat that you have sailed, as lets say a beneteau, bora bora, pleamar, etc with similar dimentions?
