Neither do I, but it is sometimes unavoidable when I speak about something I know very little about, which is sometimes irresistable to me, as I have questions to which I want answers.

For anyone who missed it:

Don't you just LOVE Google cache??

I wonder what that thing on the back is? Looks like some kind of shredder...

To be fair, the guy has made some designs which were quite acceptable you know: http://www.boatdesign.net/gallery/sh...0/ppuser/20972

No Paul you did not!
And may I add: I did know you are a bit slow, cause I could have done such nice piece of art at first grade.

Now that I've seen this image again, I feel quite vindicated and justified in my initial and subsequent posts.

After taking a quick look at the 4 views of that little powerboat hull, I'm not especially impressed with the good doctor's talent.

Hehe... looks like the image has been cleared from the server now for good... Should have backed it up in my Photobucket...

Good news..

Well, all jokes aside. I managed to sell the design to Alii Kai, Hawaii, Hawaii for a free 24' with twin 80's (Hondas). And before the underpowered message augmentation let me please just say that this area is surrounded by and ocean with unforgiving seas. So regardless of the amount of HP on the transom the hull length is the factor that determines speed (now where did i read that?). Turns out they are interested in making a SOLAS class search and rescue boat for Pacific and other Islands. And if I sink, well maybe I'll get a free ride home. now about that paper shredder..

so with the cost of materials at only about $1.50 i can afford a few performance upgrades on the 75's enough to make them 80's (all while still remaining 1496cc's). maybe even run them off a tank of Blue Rhino or two with a valve controlled venturi compensated propane conversion with minimal ecu remapping (but then it might blow up). turns out the turbo intercooled crowd from the roadways are so throttle happy they came up with injectors for the air intakes (sub-injectors). then i'll post the photo.

So Yeti, you are saying you got a 24' boat with twin 80 (75) HP's in return for your drawing of a floating paper shredder?
