Your bouncing from A to X and back to L up to V and back to M. yOU NEED TO READ AND STUDY and look over evything you can so you can define what you want and what help, if any, you want. Your more than welcome, and you can find good Doug Fir and other building woods easily in the Reno area. When you are ready to buy, contact me and I will direct you to a few places. I built my first boat when I was 16. It was the Glen-L "flying Saucer" . That was back in the middle ages for you--1958
