| fairing aluminium ive got a second hand boom that ive tigged all the holes up on im just wondering what the best process would be to fair it back up for respraying? sean |

| seein as nobody will assist heavily sand the whole boom(not anodised?) prime with altex number one or any recommended two pack, , buy some microballons, mix with wests or any poxy , and fill the holes, , fair off with a short board, , prime the areas you filled, ,and then undercoat, and then sand with finer and finer grits and then top coat |

| is altex number one an etch primer? as ive heard that aluminium is quite hard to paint due to the aluminium oxide sean |
