Exhaustive Boat Research!!!!

I have been researching what boat to buy for close to a year! I fish the Tampa Bay area. I would say I’m 60/40 inshore vs offshore. My vehicle has a 5,500lb tow capacity. I’ve narrowed things down between a Privateer 24’ center console & a Gause commercial 26’ center console. They are both very comparably priced. The Privateer has a great beam (9’1”), but has tons of wood & I’m concerned about the floor, etc rotting. The Gause has a narrower beam (8’5”) but their floor is nita-core (sp?) & I’ve heard that although it’s light & won’t rot, it’s not very strong for putting a tower on it. Anyway, any input I can receive would be greatly appreciated!!!
