Before replying its worth bearing in mind that many (most? all?) of the OPs posts are just very thinly disguised adverts for his own business, it seems.............

I understand that posting on forums is a good way of getting your web site pushed up the search engine rankings, so its getting to be a popular tactic by those just out to push their product. For many forum users I suspect the tactic just irritates. Personally, I just make a note never to do business with anyone who does this, and add the poster to my kill list if the forum has that capability.

FIRST THINGS I'D WANT on his standard W-Kayak would be either net or flat(self draining/cleaning) surface across the front and/or back pontoons. Probably a flat working surface in front and net on back. Or maybe a net-cum-tray across the back to hold one of those milk-crates so popular with kayak fishermen. Just to have some working space that drains into the water, not into the boat.

The catamaran design with the nice deep wide foot spaces seems to make it an idea platform for SOME SORT of leg powered locomotion. Have either pedal-levers like Hobie or pedal-tracks which would drive either prop, paddle-wheel, flippers OR a mono-track.

If the mono-track was robust enough it could be used to transport the W-kayak across that troublesome squishy muddy strip that often separates dry land and water. The track could be raised out of the water for faster paddling or stay in to drive the kayak with leg power.

This W-Kayak also might be a good starting point for my Feather-Weight Combo PWC/Scooter with Honda Trail 90/110 engine/trans and 12", 16" or 20" bicycle tires which would pivot up between the fore and aft pontoons. Having well tested STAND UP feature, place for wheels to pivot up to without butchering the hull, and ability to seat two, or stow lots of cargo really helps my vision of the Combo PWC/Scooter.

Plus, I'm really stuck on hard plastic roto molded hull, not inflatable, even though one of the primary uses would be stow aboard a less than giant yacht.

5view (front/back, side, top/bottom) I'd sketch out and post my take on using the hull for Combo PWC/Scooter.

Bonus points for emailing me files I can drop into SolidWorks Student Edition(will take non-student files, but any files derived from Student Version with spread "student version" to any other files they touch).

But I do have to tell him "utility patents" are nearly nothing, especially if it is a bunch of compound curves in a boat hull that has surely been done as rough concept by others. It would keep someone from taking a mold off your design and selling boats from that mold, but that's about it.

But I do think his existing hull could be the PWC/combo hull.

PS-one thing I really liked about my old Aqua-Terra Prism SOT was I found I could switch up paddling positions by sitting up on deck just behind the seat, or get up on my knees "Indian Style" using PFD for knee pads. Really helped on longer trips. Just a few minutes of working the body in a different position gives you more energy when back to normal position.

I see diff positions is part of the WW boat. I'd try turning around and "back paddling" as well with normal double ended paddle.

One of the big probs with PWC combo this hull might solve is BEING ABLE TO USE ONE LEG TO BALANCE AT STOPS(with in-line wheel config).

I really got to get off this site and get back to moving and studies.

I like seeing real boats that people are designing, building and selling. Especially if they're a bit different than what I see at the marina every day.

I'm a moderator on a professional forum and solicitations are not allowed in those forums. I delete them as fast as I see them. There is another section to advertise and the forums are to discuss the various business aspects employed in the industry. I view forums as a place to ask questions, get answers and to offer advice, not to push a product or service. It is irritating to see posts that simply say "my xyz plans seem to meet your requirements" instead of addressing a design issue or providing an explanation. Such is just blantant self promotion. I can accept a comment after adding to the thread like "you might goggle xyz boats as they are similar". A little tact would not be as offensive I'm sure.

Not really ragging on the above posts, just commenting on what was said last in general. I think all forums should be free of solicitations.
