The Dreadnought Project host old(<1945) blueprints

http://www.dreadnoughtproject.org/plans/

nice high resolution scans of old plans of warships from about 1900-1945.

just like in building(land) prints, I guess these would be the 'general' prints without all the finer points such as where the wires and pipes go.

I've never seen all the PLANS before...mostly just photos of the ships once in the water, and often from a distance.

Very cool.... it would be great to get a few of the museums in on this, get some more plans and more bandwidth.

I'm sure with modern tech you could increase the contrast

and color(they seem to be faded multi-color) and blow it up for framing, or as the back-wall paper on one of your big fish tanks.

He has a "reproduce free but keep this notice" but I'm sure if you gave a donation he let you make the notice less unsightly.
